The 1970 Dallas Cowboys Championship ring , like the 1970 colts super bowl ring, was embeded with the team’s logo on the top , and engraved with “NFC Champions” on the side of the ring extra, so officially it became the first NFC Championship ring.  In 1970 Season, the AFL-NFL merger was completed and the champion title was defined officially in the Championship rings, so the team that lose the super bowl will get the AFC or NFC title on their rings and the winning team will get the world champions on their super bowl rings.
