The 1967 Green Bay Packers Championship ring is known as the Super Bowl II Ring for us, as it is the second world championship ring after the AFL-NFL merger, but for the packers, it was not their 2nd world championship ring but third, so you can that there were 3 champion title on the surface. After this season, The packers lost Lombardi as he died unexpectedly on September 3, 1970, the NFL renamed the Super Bowl trophy as the Vince Lombardi Trophy in recognition of his accomplishments with the Packers. so this is how the story comes
